WHY CHOOSE KURB FOR OUR CD DVD DUPLICATION JOB?

1) Mainly because we're the cheapest in Auckland and New Zealand. In fact, once you factor in all the additional costs for set up and graphic design that other local Auckland and New Zealand disc duplication services and companies charge, as well as having to add GST to your pricing quote (GST charges are already included in our prices) - most CD / DVD jobs under 500 units you would have done become significantly cheaper.

Also, with most CD / DVD copying or duplication companies or services, if you want several jobs done at once there'll be no way of negotiating a discount. If you have a series of disc jobs you need doing at once, we don't charge that much extra.

Also if you are just getting discs duplicated with no packaging we are REALLY cheap and fast.

2) Fast and convenient. We can't Guarantee that we are the fastest but because we are a small and flexible company it's always likely we can take on an urgent job, and our staff can work late. Masters can be dropped off in our letterbox, art designs and content files such as .mp3's emailed through to us, and we are also available in the afternoon and evening for drop offs and pick ups within the central Auckland City area.

WE HAVE AN URGENT JOB, WHAT DO WE DO?

Most important for us is that we get the artwork that appears on the disc face label as soon as possible so we can begin printing the discs.

Next we will have to get the master content of the disc - that is a copy of the CD or DVD disc exactly as you want it copied. You can also email mp3's or pdf's or other content you may want included on the disc if that's easier - just send to :

Obviously, it is important to call me, Matt on 027 684 8250 to let me know you have an urgent job. If you cant get through, an email or a text would be a good idea.

If I am able to make time, it is possible we can pick up or drop off masters / orders within the Auckland City area.

Please be aware that if we are doing a 24hour pick up and drop off job there will be an extra charge of $50.

Please be aware that realistically we are only able to do up to 500 discs overnight, also, if you need to set up printing and trimming for cover inserts, this usually takes at least a day to arrange.

WHY IS OUR DVD AND CD DUPLICATION SERVICE SO CHEAP?

We don't have a big machine in a big factory with lots of staff. My cousin and I have a little machine in our spare room. When you get Kurb CD's you're not paying for our machine, or our factory, or our staff. That's why we're so cheap.

HOW CAN WE SAVE EVEN MORE ON OUR CD or DVD DISC COPYING, DUPLICATION OR PRINTING JOB?

Remember, the most expensive and time consuming part of your CD or DVD copying job is likely to be producing the printed inserts - if you require them for your CD or DVD packaging.

Black and white printed inserts are one way of saving money, but often, you can save money by having us reproduce and print your CD or DVD discs and provide packaging such as cases or sleeves and arranging for the printing and compilation of the packaging yourself.

This is a popular option for those who wanted a cardboard digipak or something similar as we can't print onto card, nor are we able to provide CD or DVD booklets that require a stapled spine.

You should be aware that a CD or DVD with inserts in a Full CD jewel Case are likely to be more expensive - this is not only because it requires front and back inserts, but also because their is extra manual assemblage required. Do you absolutely need a full jewel case because a slimline can be just as effective but significantly cheaper and faster to produce.

WHAT EXTRA COSTS SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT?

Extra costs that you may possibly face include the following:

As mentioned, urgent same day/next day pick ups and drop offs are an extra $50. This is only available within central Auckland City.

If you want the printing on your CD or DVD insert to be double sided, there is likely to be an additional charge for that also, roughly about 50c p/unit but obviously that slides either way depending on quantities ordered,
